Work with me

Before our meeting

Prospective clients may be unsure if nutritional therapy will suit them so I offer a free telephone/video introductory call to clear any doubt that may arise, ask questions and see how we can work together.

Prior to our meeting, I will forward you via email a short health questionnaire together with a food diary for you to complete and return to me before our first meeting.

The initial consultation

The first consultation will last between 60 to 90 minutes, during which you will be asked questions about your symptoms, health conditions, family and medical history, diet, lifestyle, emotional status, dietary preferences, current medications and/or natural supplements. Where necessary, I will request appropriate laboratory tests to help me provide the best nutritional advice.

Whenever necessary, I will also look at your tongue and nails, in order for me to see your full health picture.

I will talk you through your food diary and discuss your goals.

We will discuss a few points during our session and I will then send you a detailed, achievable and realistic nutritional and lifestyle plan in line with your goals and needs within 5-7 days.

Should you wish I could also send you some recipes and background reading.

Please note that, although in some cases there's a quick response to even small changes, it might take the body sometime before responding to protocols.

The follow-up

The follow up (60 minutes) will be 6-8 weeks later according to your body response, where we will discuss your progress, any challenge you may have experienced, and anything new that may have arisen.

We will then adjust and review your plan accordingly.

You may need subsequent appointments which we can discuss.

I recommend a minimum of 2 nutritional therapy sessions. Nevertheless, I find in my practice, that most clients require 3 or 4 in order to review improvements and challenges, check supplementation dosages and effects (when recommended), implementing possible further lab investigations or just ask questions and receive clarification.
